Kirk Nordgren, general manager and head coach at Carmichael Training Systems in Santa Ynez, coaches a wide variety of athletes toward their performance goals. Kirk will share about training for endurance sports and dispel some common myths. He will also discuss cycling in this area and how cars and bikes really can get along.
Christy Nordgren, nutritional therapist and practicing yoga teacher, is passionate about helping people connect the parts to see the whole. She is a strong promoter of choosing a whole foods diet, finding a realistic relationship with food, and pursuing physical fitness through both endurance sports and yoga.

Kirk holds a masters degree in exercise science from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and Christy received her certification through Nutrition Therapy Institute (Denver). She is also a 200-hour yoga instructor and currently teaches in Santa Ynez
