It was an action packed weekend here in Los Alamos, as the warm Spring weather brought lots of thirsty visitors to our favorite little tasting room. The Casa Dumetz 100% Roussanne was flowing on tap this weekend and seemed to be the perfect refreshing delight for friendly visitors. Our fantastic CDW club members also received news this weekend that we will be releasing our Spring shipment at the end next month! Sonja will be officially releasing her lovely 2012 Syrah Rose as well as her 2012 Viognier, and I will be the first to tell you that these will be the ultimate 2012 Spring/Summer wines!
We started off our weekend with a *special edition* Friday night speaker series at Babi's Tasting Room. The authors of the clever animal lover's Zoobiquity, Barbara Natterson-Horowitz M.D. & Kathryn Bowers, hosted a record breaking Babi's crowd and entertained every spirit with their animal -vs- human medical/ life facts.
Did you know that a pig could suffer from anorexia, or that a beluga whale could get breast cancer?
A big thank you to Barbara and Kathryn for your wonderful energy and for leaving a room full of satisfied customers who were all eager to read you incredible book!
The rest of the weekend was full of art & wine therapy, story telling, and lots of celebrating with beautiful souls!!!
A special congratulations to the darling Mickey Neal and sweetheart Mary Beth Coyne for getting engaged in the heart of Little L.A. this weekend. You know your a big deal when Sonja happens to find a sold out bottle of 2011 Sonja Suds to help celebration the occasion properly..he he!! Thank you so much for sharing your special day with the Casa Dumetz Crew, we wish you lovebirds nothing but utter bliss during this eventful new chapter! True magic happens in little L.A. folks.:)
