May is finally here here, and your Vaquera promises you that the month long celebration for our outstanding wine club members has has only just begun! This is our chance to spoil all of our favorites all month long with our savory summer releases and extreme entertainment.
Your Babi's Tasting Room crew kicked off our 'Goods Club Month', with a welcoming and influential speaker session on Friday evening. The event was hosted by the brilliant & present Commander of Vandenberg Air Force Base, Brigadier General Nina Armagno. Nina took our tasting room crowd on a personal journey as she shared her insight on the importance of teamwork, and explained the definition of true leadership.
Thank you for all that you do for our beloved country Nina, it has been such a pleasure and privilege to get to know you and to hear your story! You have been a true inspiration to many.
The rest of the weekend was complete with plenty of smiling faces and thirsty visitors who were more than happy to cool off with a glass of Sonja's delicious Gewurztraminer'12!! Did I mention how amazing the Roussanne'12 is tasting as well? That's right folks, Miss Sonja Magdevski does not mess around with her sexy summer whites.:)
Sunday, your favorite tasting room crew hosted a Cinco de Mayo celebration...Casa Dumetz STYLE!!
The wonderful Tanore/Diaz family hosted our amazing tamale extravaganza, as Dee Diaz (aka Tamale Queen), gave a tamale making instructional to all of our visitors and wine club members.
