I am happy to report that this rainy weather did not seem to damper our weekend one bit for Little L.A. visitors, as Babi's Tasting Room welcomed new and friendly faces to our brilliant town.
Friday evening while preparing for our evening speaker session, we received our first magical moment of our Casa Dumetz weekend. The Santa Ynez mountains were glistening with fresh white powered snow on Friday morning, and a few of our favorite locals didn't hesitate to bring this SYV snow experience straight to Babi's Tasting Room. Needless to say our Michigan raised winemaker was very please to see snow this winter!!! :
A special thank you to Chase and Brett for the VIP snow delivery to our tasting room. You guys Rock!
This is how we roll in Little L.A. folks......:)
Our Friday evening speaker session was then hosted by Mr. Frank Campo, our local California Veteran's Employment Representative. Frank gave the Babi's crowd a deeper understanding of what our United Stated Veterans our currently tackling, and what we as civilians can do to help.
A special thank you to Frank Campo for all that you to!
Saturday and Sunday we were blessed with wonderful personalities that joined in on great conversation and enjoyed Sonja's divine vino. Babi's even had a stilt walking demonstration Saturday morning by Miss Connie Rhode, of The C Gallery!
Thank you for your energy Connie, what a fantastic surprise.... you go girl!
In addition to the stilt lesson, Sonja and I welcomed our fabulous new intern Miss Kaela Pensa to the Casa Dumetz crew.
We welcome you to Little L.A. with open arms......!
Until next time my darlings......
