A Girl Powered Weekend at Babi's Tasting Room

Hello Casa Dumetz Friends & Followers,

I am happy to report that your CDW crew enjoyed another fun filled weekend in the thriving town of Little L.A., complete with many wonderful new faces & plenty of celebrations!
We started our weekend festivities off with a quirky/blissful 500th month birthday celebration for a very dear Casa Dumetz friend, the lovely Miss Jennifer Scarano. The event was a great success, complete with many belly laughs, great conversation, and our new 2012 Roussanne...which is tasting quite good I might add! :)
We Take Wine & Dance Moves Seriously in Little L.A.

Friday evening was truly a girl powered event as our speaker/ host, Tobi Jo Green, shared her passion for women empowerment & youth education with our wonderful Babi's Tasting Room visitors. Tobi not only discussed details about her successful Girls Empowerment Workshop, but also showed our vibrant crowd a few fantastic self defense moves. It's better to be safe then sorry!!

The rest of our gorgeous weekend was spent spoiling all of our first time visitors and loyal club members with Sonja's sensational 2012 releases.The CDW Syrah Rose'12 is officially this Vaquera's new fave, but the Gewurztraminer'12 is definitely following close second.
A big thank you to all of our travelers/ beautiful souls from near and far that came to try some of Sonja's brilliant vino.

Easter Weekend @ Babi's Tasting Room

Hello Casa Dumetz Friends & Followers-
Hearts were full here in Little L.A. this weekend, as travelers came from near and far to celebrate both Spring Break and Easter holidays. Families found Babi's Tasting Room to be the perfect place to gather for both stunning boutique wines & great conversation. Those of whom did stop by were also in for the extra VIP treatment, as Sonja Magdevski brought in her latest Casa Dumetz vintages hot off the bottling line to share with eager visitors!

Hooray for Casa Dumetz 2012 Syrah Rose, 2012 Roussanne, 2012 Gwertztraminer, and our 2012 Viogner!!!!

The Casa Dumetz crew was blessed to have a room full of warm spirits Friday evening, as Los Alamos resident Kay Davis honored her late husband Bill Davis during a passionate speaker series. Kay not only shared Bill's stories & poems of faith from his book, 'In His Light,' but also shared the rest of her amazing & courageous family with the tasting room crowd.

Thank you Kay Davis for leaving a footprint on all of our hearts, you truly set the tone for this holiday weekend.

This Saturday & Sunday were a bit adventurous/ blissful for your Vaquera, as Miss Sonja help down her fort in the heart of Little L.A.! Saturday was an extremely humbling & blissful day as my fellow Vaqueras and myself, along with talent Rebecca Rivera, shot the Spring/ Summer'13 catalog for my personal jewelry line 'The Vino Vaquera Collection.' The Vaqueras not only celebrated and photographed with the famous & sold out Sonja Suds, but also stopped by for a last min pep talk from our favorite wine maker, Miss Sonja Magdevski.

The VVC Crew loves Casa Dumetz Wines!!!!!!!

My Easter Sunday was enjoyed with the rest of the Vaquera family, along with the William James Cellar Crew, drinking Babi's Gewurztraminer and brewing our very first batch of homemade beer! This is how we do holidays around here on the Central Coast folks. :)
