So what does place have to do with being happy, satisfied or having a good quality of life?   Anne-Marie background info: Masters of science in human geography from Victoria, University of Wellington, New Zealand. synapse. brain. therapy. rehabilitate. please R.S.V.P Now by replying to this email.  Please join us this Friday at Casa Dumetz WinesNEW TASTING ROOM at 6:00 pm!  Nelly Swanson currently works in a federal correctional facility as a Psychologist.  She moved to Central CA from Los Angeles with her husband three years ago to undertake this career choice.   In Los Angeles, she worked in a psychiatric institution with the severely mentally ill and with suicidal and homicidal children.  She also has experience working with at-risk youth/homeless minors, and sex offenders.  She has a doctorate in Psychology, and has graduated from USC and Pepperdine University.   On August 23rd, she will expand on her unique experience working in a male federal prison as a Psychologist. She will gladly try to answer all your questions and touch on various subjects including the mentally ill in federal custody, rehabilitation, and treatment within a correctional setting.     She recently moved to Los Alamos from Lompoc and loves her new town and house with all her heart.  BRING QUESTIONS! This is a fascinating topic!
